Hey Ya'll!
It's been a wee bit since I last wrote, but believe me, it wasn't for lack of things to write about. The past two months have been full of travel, changes, and growth. Most importantly, picked up a new hobby called Kayaking...and I swear, if this music thing doesn't work out, 'think I'm gonna go rogue and spend my life on the water.

I also spent about 2 weeks in the South, taking a crazy road trip from New Orleans to Charleston, down through Florida, all the way to Key West and then back up the gulf to Louisiana again. If you have traveled much, you'll probably understand that usually a trip doesn't go how you imagined it in your head. They are their own animal that morph into what they want to be, and what you need them to be in your life at the time. There is definitely some inspiration there to be drawn upon for new songs...
And shoot dang, that BBQ shrimp po' Boy could inspire an entire album. *insert drooling*

So now I'm HOME! And getting back into the swing of things, including a new project to keep my busy schedule the perfect amount of crazy.
Drum roll please....
I've been saying it forever, but now it's actually going to happen. A 6 song EP, to be released at the end of June. :D
The best part of this is that there will be a little release concert at Ruby Theatre, downtown Chelan. It's Washington's oldest theatre and a magical little place with the original balcony, stage, and architecture. It's going to be incredible, and probably the most special show yet...I have so many people to thank for the support and conception of this idea, but mainly I want to throw a shout out to Valerie and Coni. You ladies are the best <3
